Hello, where can I find topics about the gold slime in the slime caverns?

Topics? Do you mean where it is? If that is what you are asking about:

It's in a secret room in level 3. You can't go to level 3 until Chapter 9 though.

Another quick question: I've noticed that the secret rooms are definitely quite in order (yay!), but I haven't been able to find #14. I found #13 in the river we needed the icicle flowers for, and I've found #15-17, but not #14. Any suggestions? Thanks!

edit: ok, I'm at that area, but if I have to go inside the cabin, I'm too late, b/c I've finished the quest, and the dwarf won't let me in. If it's outside, I must be clueless b/c I can't find it at all.

Glad you found it! It is a tough one. Incidentally, no secret door should be in any place that is impossible to return to so places like that cabin are not locations for them.

They are getting harder, yes. #18 and #19 require you to explore the new places that open up in Chapter 4, as #20 is the next one in the plot. To find those:

For #18, try going back to the warehouse, and explore that deserted island through the teleporter.
For #19 it's in the mall. It's hard to find, but look for an area where it feels like a store should be but isn't.

Could someone please help me. I have downloaded the demo 17 times. It only gets to the extract part and then nothing. I have been playing these games for over 10 years and this is the first time this has happened. I am at a loss as what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

That sounds like your antivirus might be blocking the extraction somehow. You may need to load up your anti-virus and tell it to let the program run.

Edit: Also we did have one person who for some reason the download didn't get all the files. If you still run into trouble let me know and I can post another link for you to try.

I still cannot see "icicle flowers" in Embefield potions shop? I downloaded what was at the site.
the game.exe file says modified 6/12/2014. size 137KB Am I not getting the right file? The older one has the same date?

The file always shows that date, as that was the date the game was started. But it does sound like you don't have the fixed version yet, try going to BMTMicro and redownloading it, as the new version was updated yesterday. If not, let Indy know as it means the update didn't take somehow.

BTW, the Icicle Flowers are at the bottom of the list of what is for sale. Also due to the way the engine saves maps, you will need to leave Emberfield and come back before it will register, as the old map is saved in your save file as well, but once you leave the area that will no longer apply and it will properly load the corrected map.

His defense is really high. Best strategy is to use skills which ignore defense, or lower the DEF and MDF. I usually let Josie do most of my damage when I fight it as her Energy magic ignores the MDF stat of the monster, and have the rest focus on buffing the party and/or healing them as needed.

That's because in Chapter 9 the world map opens up big time, so many of them are in the new areas that you can now go to.
