For the text I would say it happened at least 10-15 times....with both dialog between the King, the witch, between the different characters. I just made it to the ruins before my demo time ran out.

Oh....ok. When I got my skills I started to "pick" different classes without realizing that weapons from the throne room were for four specific classes.

Is there an easier way to figure out what class uses what weapon? I find that I have to go in and equip and then have it optimize because manual didn't seem to work for me. It could be though, that I did not have the specific weapon and because of that, nothing appeared.

Warrior Bracelets are usable by the physical classes, and Magician's Bracelets can be equipped by the mystical classes, although some can equip both. (and here's a small cheat- the bracelets' effects stack, so if you get three of one kind, put them all on one person and watch as they tear through enemies.)

Oh....ok. That makes sense. I thought anyone could wear a bracelet and that would boost up anyone stats.

I finished game and loved it...wished it was longer. Only thing I found disconcerting were the enemies in the volcano. They are almost impossible to beat without a lot of saves even with best equipment.

ALSO... I went back and found an area that I don't remember ever being mentioned during the game. It is called Bonestrewn Mountain. There is a spiked entrance with no way to lower the spikes. Did I miss something or happen upon an area for the next series in the game?

About the weapons, a small chart to determine who gets what:

Knight=Swords
Warrior=Axes and Hammers
Priest=Guns(!)
Magician=Nunchuks
Paladin=Spears
Dark Knight= Okay, this one gets tricky. DK's can only equip weapons with scary or negative sounding names-Sword of Sorrows, Scavenger, like that. The confusion is that some of those weapons are swords, some are not.
Grappler=None, but they get a big ATK bonus at each level up.
Thief=Knives

And of course, when you pick a subclass, you can mess up the whole thing, eg, a knight with priest as a subclass can use both swords and guns.

How did you get to Blackbane if you didn't go through Bonestrew?
Raven: You have us, Rowen...if you want, we'll be your family.
Rowen: Even the crazy man?
Homard: Especially the crazy man! Every girl needs a pet!

Mina: I like him. Reminds me of me Uncle Fred.
Simona: Is Uncle Fred senile, too?
Mina: No, but he thinks he is.

I got to Blackbane by boat! I guess that allowed me to completely skip Bonestrewn Mountain. Calliope was already in the castle. Didn't even know she had to be rescued.

Just finished the game. Great story and fun dialogue along with amazing graphics. The fighting scenes were diabolical. They kept getting harder the further I went. The hardest part for me was the Ruins and those fish! My party was wiped out so many times that I lost count.....almost gave up then. I'm a little slow to figure things out, but once I did, the lava cave (mountain?) and the end fight were no problem.

I too missed Bonestrew mountain. Once my wounds heal from all those fights, I'll redownload the fix for that and play again.
I would like to have seen some credits at the end just to know who created this incredible game. Well done guys and thank you.

Well, the music was mostly by Aaron Krogh (check out his SoundCloud here:http://soundcloud.com/aaron-anderson-11, it's all really good stuff.) and the scripts were courtesy of Yanfly, who's had some of his work included in the Ashes series, but here it was just a ridiculous amount of his scripting, things like the Class system, the skill leveling, the JP, the enemy leveling, about a thousand different state and equipment things, the message system, the menu...I could go on, but I think you get the point.

And if you note that I've not mentioned the writer, there's a very good reason for that. +:oops: ;)

I had to play Moonchild before I finished this game. I did like the skills and the classes. I wish there were quests besides the main one. I found the story to be good, but to be honest, I was bored. Go here, fight, go there, fight. Not much to think about. As for the fights, they were easy if you equipped everyone with a paralysing effect on all weapons. I just had one character hit each enemy, and most were paralyzed. Then I could play with the skills to see which ones I liked. I pretty much used the same ones every time. I also like to explore and find things and talk to all characters, I did like the dialog, just wish some characters would have added quests or whatever. The last comment in the game did make me laugh.

Can I ask for some help?

I have to infiltrate the mine after meeting Princess Calliope, but many of the monsters there one-hit KO me! I know that the monsters all become stronger the player's level, but I'm at my wit's end with this game! Can anyone give me a tip to help?

On another note, do the monsters all become scaled to Farenheit's level, or the party's average? It really never gave any specifications regarding that.

The enemy levels are all averaged out from the player character with the lowest level, so if you have three level 4's and a level 3 character in your party, the enemy levels are based on the level 3 character.

About the mine, the only thing I can suggest is get the best weapons and armour for your level, invest in leveling skills, bring plenty of items, and cross your fingers. In any other game, grinding would be recommended, but here, that might do more harm then good, seeing as how the monsters level too.

There really is no special trick to beating any particular enemy in the game, although some tactics seem to work better then others. In general, I'd just suggest the old massive-amounts-of-items-strong-abilities-and-save-spamming strategy. If your still having trouble, you can always avoid battles altogether, but if that isn't possible, all you can do is hope for the best. Don't forget, the game is supposed to be hard.

Do you mean you put it somewhere on the map and can't get back to it, or you haven't found it yet and don't know where to look?

If it's the first one, all I can suggest is reloading an earlier save, if possible.

If it's the second one, then you need to go back to the place where you fought the Reaper in Namoda, and check out the big tombstone looking thing.
