AuntIggy and bodeia: Before Alikamou drives you crazy hunting for Soap and Beer in Arvale:Treasure of Memories, I'm pretty sure Alikamou is referring to Arvale: Journey of Illusion (the free, older game) ;)

ah that would explain it, thought I was having a senior moment, cause I thought I'd spoke to everyone that was remotely human, even tried talking a few non human items +::lol

Alikamou: As for the Marsh, read the signs *literally* (ie: W = Go left one screen, N= go up one screen, etc) or just check the walkthrough :)

Jaybot, does the one screen mean going to the next sign posted intersection?

It means walk in that direction until the you hit an edge of a screen, and then the screen changes (the screen fades out and re-positions Duncan) when you walk off of it. For example: W, W, E, N would mean walk left until the screen changes, walk left again until the screen changes, walk right (yes, this means heading exactly back where you came from, it's tricky! ;)) and then walk up one screen. Does that help a little?

All right, Alikamou, you've piqued my curiosity. I'm going to have to try one more time to play this game. +::grrr I may need to use a magnifier in order to see the game, but it sounds as good as the new Arvale.

AuntiIggy: You piqued my curiosity about magnifiers (even if that wasn't what you meant) and I went and tried about 10 or so to find one that's easy to use and works well with Arvale :)

If you're curious to try it out, this was the best one I found: http://downloads.imgpresents.com/magnif ... taller.exe

Free to use for 30 days, so you just have to make sure you finish Arvale before that ;)

If you install this and open up The Magnifier, then click the full screen button, everything will be much easier to see :)

Thank you. I was thinking more like a magnifying glass. Hadn't even occurred to me that there are magnifiers for computers. Again, thank you and am looking forward to playing. Will let you know how it turns out. For now, must go to bed. Work night shift next two nights so won't be able to get to it until Wednesday.
