Jeremy, there are 2 chests in the cave of destiny I cannot seem to get - 1st one is just in the 2nd area after you enter in a closed area with 4 tombstones around it and the 2nd one is in a dark area on a platform with stairs leading to it - there is another platform below it that I can get to but not this one - if you can help many thanks

Hey, Gaby!

The Shield Guardians have very high attack and EXTREMELY high defense, along with a layer of resistance to just about everything. Your best bet is to blast them with your strongest Elemental spells (preferably the ones Methuselah teaches you). Or you could use tons of the Guardian crystals that you can buy at the Castle in the Sky. You'll also want to protect yourself with defensive skills, Stat Raisers, etc.

Four tombstone chest: From the entrance, take the upper-right stairway and descend to the third basement (the first really huge one with all the different ways to go). Head left and go up and around the stone structure in the middle of the floor, following the path all the way to the lower-left part of the area. The stairs eventually lead to the chest.

Second chest: Is this the chest you're talking about?

Thanks no that is not the right chest - it is in an area with other platforms and the stairs are not distinct- sorry not much help i know-

Can you describe the surrounding area a bit? What's it near? What comes before and after it?

I made the Cave of Destiny so huge that I'm lost in my own creation. +::cry

Okay here goes - I am in the threshold part and I found a warp in a room with 4 blue torches and 5 panels with faces on them - you step on the warp and it takes you to this black area with orange square like things and 2 long brick side walls - in between the brick walls is this panel with the warp and a long staircase from it to another square- from this you can see the other panel with the chest and 4 blue torches with stairs leading down to it- I hope this can help you

Honestly, that sounds like the first screenshot I posted. Are you sure that's not it?

The warp in that screenshot leads to the chest on the right in the first screenshot I posted. There is indeed a long, skinny staircase between the chest and the warp. Is this where you are?

Okay, now I can help you!

In the very first room of the Cave of Destiny, take the warp that puts you about halfway through the dungeon. Go right and take the stairs up to the next floor, which is filled with poisonous liquid. Go into the poison and follow the wall up to the left. There's a small indent in the wall, and if you look closely, you can see stairs below the surface of the poison liquid. Take the stairs, and you're on your way to that chest.
