Okay, no rush. ;)

Ahhh night shifts. I just got flashbacks of long graveyard shifts I used to work at a lovely gas station many moons ago... I wish you the best of luck! :)

Thank you. I work 12 hour night shifts and it's a really crazy schedule. I bet you're thinking "medical field." Aha! You are correct. I make medicines such as Advil, Robitussin, Colace, etc. I really like nights, just not 12 hours at a time.

In this game that Alikamou is playing now(not sure if it's Ocean of Time or Journey or Illusion), is there any dialogue at the beginning when they are in the throne room? When I tried it out before, I couldn't get anyone to say anything. I may have to redownload it.

AuntIggy: Ah, medical field, sounds fun :)

Alikamou is playing Journey of Illusion and yes, it does start in a throne room. The action/use key is the Enter key, so space bar won't work if you were trying that (you can interact with something when the red 'use' button lights up similar to how the '?' pops up in the new Arvale). You can also use the mouse to click on where you want to go and interact with the menu and characters. :)

Thnx!

Ok got it. Works a little different than I'm used to. I guess weapons can't be equipped. When in battle it lets you choose which one you want to use?

AuntIggy: Great! Glad you got it working :) Equipment can be equipped -and items used- by clicking on the stat button, as Alikamou said. You can also press 1,2,3, and 4 number keys (at the top of the keyboard) which do the same as clicking on the buttons at the bottom (Use, Stat, Zoom (which brings up a mini-map) and Menu).

Armor does need to be equipped from the menu (and it doesn't last forever, so... be careful!), Weapons you can switch during battle to the best weapon you have for the monster you are fighting (at the top there is a +, -, = sign which means strong, weak, and equal power).

Alikamou: Wow! Good ending on the first try, very nice! :) Glad you enjoyed it! Now you can put a few of the pieces together in Arvale: Treasure of Memories ;)

You ready to take on Arvale II? If you do, there is a walkthrough here: http://bit.ly/are2kQ :)

True. Arvale II is a bit more difficult, different style of play, and contains a few more puzzles. It's best to choose Easy when you start the game (even playing on Normal gives me some headaches, Expert is just crazy) :)

Ah yeah, just thought about something in Arvale II... :)

If you get past the first dungeon and to the part where you have to choose the Elixir cave or not, I would say to simply skip the Elixir cave, it's just too complex to do with a mouse. If you already decided to go to the Elixir cave, you can simply leave by walking out the entrance. :)
