Actually, the rope thing was actually explained in the first Episode :)

Go click around on things in Dhierce (I think there is a rope next to the well on the east side of the town, near the middle, which has some dialogue explaining things to Duncan about ropes). :D

Duncan would like to use ropes in his adventure, but the narrator says that haven't ropes on the script of the game +::biggrin
