I"m having trouble finding Tanhal-Arag. Is he on the first or second floor of the crypt? NSEW? I have already pulled two levers. Thanks! Also, I went to the Cololton Fortress and could not find the Madge in the right tower.

Nope, you would have to load an old save file. Her mother wouldn't let her go with you voluntarily. :)

I cannot enter Cambolton Fortress for some reason. I'm trying to find the mage. Does this open at a later time in the game?

On the second floor down, towards the SE is a set of stairs down to the third level. This is where you will find him.

Just finished. Thank you for a terrific game and the happy ending. I was able to beat Izdul-Kalag on my first try and that had to be a first for me. I had Aerin, Tommy, Liquan and Thony in my party and then half way through the battle switched Liquan for Serena. Loved this feature of being able to change players during a battle. I completed all the side quests except one which I assumed was time sensitive. As there were a few towns and a castle I couldn't enter, I am hoping there will be another part coming soon. Also under items there was a category for weapons, yet none were available. The guide was extremely helpful and worth every penny. Again thank you for a great job Aaron to you and your team.

The problem is, the second level is a PUZZLE level. The second mandatory puzzle, as I have to defeat this guy to move forward in the game. I thought the game-maker posted here and said that Solvern Caverns was the only mandatory puzzle dungeon. At any rate, the problem I'm having in the second level of the Tal Ahnrag (sp?) lair, is that it seems to be a scrolling dungeon - as far as you can go in any direction just resets the dungeon after awhile and you keep repeating the same areas over and over again. I found a lever and pulled it, but nothing new was revealed. No stairs were revealed, because as I said, I can go any direction on this level, and after awhile it just repeats itself. There are no borders that I can see that reveal a set of stairs going down to the third level. Completely frustrated.

Hope this helps- from when you enter 2nd floor, go across directly to the other side, you should see some orange/pink blobs with a switch inside them , turn switch on, from there go back to return entry, go directly down till you come to another set of orange/pink blobs- 2nd switch, turn on, go across to about half way, go to a block wall, go down to a black hole and 3rd chest against a block wall below that are the steps to 3rd floor, if you have done the switches correctly, both the gates should be open- also there a 3 chests in the 2nd floor 1st near the stairs from 1st floor, 2nd heading down to 2nd switch and 3rd as above. good luck!

The game took me just under 20 hours but I spent a lot of time leveling up. My players were all level 58 when I fought Izdul-Kalag. That battle took me a good 20 minutes and a lot of Magic Water, plus I equipped Tommy with an accessory that worked amazingly well. Good fun.

Wow. I was around the same level as your characters but it took me 12 hours to finish the game. :) It was a great game and I enjoyed it but it was a bit short for me.

It's not a puzzle level IMO. Yes, it loops in all directions, but that just makes it exploration. :) As with any exploration you could just take a look at certain landmarks, and work from there. If you still need help I could post a map.

Very surprised at the speed with which you guys are finishing it! I'll make sure to estimate the gameplay lower than the time it takes me, next time. :)

edit: Alright, updated the gameplay time on my website to 20+. I guess that would be more accurate then.

There is a town on the main map that is down and left from where you start out that you must go to. The name is something that has "snow" in it. You will get a quest from someone that you must complete before you can get the ship.
