I remember playing a free game of this series years ago and If this follows the same pattern as the previous titles, it is indeed an exciting and scary game.

Theres no saving in the demo. Not good! Why is there a "to windows" options when you get to the main screen before
you start the demo??? Would be nice to be able to pause the demo just in case you have to.

Blumyst, the reason you can't save the game in the demo is because it has a 20-minute timer which goes down, and when it's at zero, the trial is finished. I suppose a 20-minute trial for this game is long enough.
BTW, you can pause the game by going into the "items" section. The count-down stops while you are in it.
I hate spiders and dark rooms and being frightened by things that jump out at me, so I will give this one a miss.

Hello everyone.
Vald has the long and short of it! There's no saving in the demo because of the 20 minute timer. Also, the content of the demo and the full game has a couple of very slight differences, so a save from the demo would not carry over anyway.
Some advice to anybody going into the game: this is not a traditional RPG like most of the other titles on Aldorlea. It is a type of game commonly referred to as "survival horror", which means the focus is on exploring, solving puzzles and trying to avoid harm. Don't be discouraged if you find you can't win every fight - you are supposed to only resort to violence when you have no other option.
I should also let you guys know that you can download the first One Night game for
free to get a good idea of what to expect if the demo is a little too short for you.

Thanks for your input, Dark Gaia!
It seems it's worth then trying the demo for a short awhile and if you like it, go directly for the full game.

Hi, I just bought One Night 2: The Beyond, and started playing it, when I found the room for saving, I healed and saved. But I do not have the option to quit the game. The only way I can quit is if I completely shut down my computer. What can I do at this time?
Thanks for any help!

You can close the game by pressing ALT + F4 on your keyboard.

Hi everyone,
You can exit the game by pressing F12 to return to the title screen, then quit the game normally from there.

In the bar lounge area, there is a calendar "for the year 1980. October 10th is cirecled: Georgia's 11th birthday." That would mean Georgia was born in 1969. The closet note on the wardrobe reads "Jim, I put that old vest you found in here for safe keeping. The code is Georgia's birth year." Yet 1969 doesn't unlock the wardrobe there. Where is the clue to the 4 digit number that will unlock that wardrobe?
There's a home in the backyard (caretaker's house?) with a bedroom and a wardrobe. Clicking says "The closet is locked with an alphabetic lock. I need to input four words to open it." Yet when you interact, there are only three words? I'm assuming the words are in the ancient scripture ("Up and down, that is where the answers lie.") I'm trying combos of above/below/die and dance/sleep/die to no avail. Feeling frustrated.

So this was February's featured game and here it is, just six weeks later, and the game has already been abandoned? Doesn't say much for the developer. Feeling sad.

I have just tried to load the demo of this game, and keep getting a setup error. I don't know if that's because I'm changing the destination directories, but I am not prepared to load games onto my C drive, so won't be experimenting to find out. I'm giving this one a miss, as the description doesn't really appeal anyway.
