I don't see a problem with that, some people in real life and real movies are known for these kinds of addition in their names. Like The Bear, why they call him that if they can't see that he's not a bear. In this case it is his name (At least I think).

Maybe he thought he was still young so often they just started tacking on the old part to remind him he wasn't.
