I think Karine and Abu would be a pretty good match. They both come from the swamps, and they both are really nice. Abu would take good care of Karine (Event though I doubt she would need it much!) without, like, annoying her by being like "I'M YOUR KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR!" and Karine would just be really good to him. I think she would have a lot of patience with him while he was getting the hang of a different language, too.

In short, they are both nice people who most likely would get along really well together, and they would probably feel an automatic bond just from both of them being from the same type of area.
