normal is fine too but nothing beats the delicious flavor and smell of sweat of hard mode

Okay, if the 9th Animal King is in that cave at the Grand Rift that now (in my game) is empty the *something* could be Bear. If I don't try to defeat it before I have him it's certainly easier.
That's all I can think of for now.

I just guessed what makes it easier to defeat the 9th Animal King when you're playing in hard mode. And I guessed it right, which impressed Indy.
