if salome turns back to mermaid, it is definite.
she could switch between mermaid and human form because it was the time during which she was a bit of both.

Ohh.. :P IMHO, she is strong as a human but her powers and strength increases as a mermaid, even same for Jack, when he was a human, he was strong but not that much, his strength increased when he turned into a werewolf. But unfortunately, Jack can't be turned into a werewolf again +::biggrin

Though I like his attitude as a human XD
