Am in the swamp in front of the "All Hail the Mighty Udo" door, can't seem to open it.

You need to get the Udo doll. It's past Bear's house, but you'll need to get it before talking to him.

The Udo doll? I've only found some toy of Bear!!!
Actually I first thought that was what I needed for convincing him to join but I didn't find any use for it.

But can both items be found? That toy and the Udo doll? Or does just either one or the other appear?

these comments are all very confusing

I found bear, but I had no choice other than to encounter him, the game took over and did it for me. So there was no way for me to go past his house to get a doll. And as soon as that was done, it took me out to the outside again. There is a temple that has a stack of teddy bears that I can click on with the magnifying glass icon, but nothing happens. So I'm lost again :P

No no! Before talking to Bear you can walk past his house (just continue to the right) and to another screen. Here's a secret room where you find Bear's toy, but I don't know yet where you can find the Udo doll cause I missed it. I guess it must also be somewhere around there.
And then, when you talk to Bear, you have to fight the dinosaur.

Who's Udo???

Sometime during MM2, in one of the discussions about the games Abu's name was misspelled Udo and people have been talking about the mysterious Udo since then. I guess Indy just made him a reality now.

Im stuck with this one as well.Have gone past the bear and got the tombstone ubu thingy but i cant get back i get as far as where i fall down the like waterfalls so how do we get back up to be able to get to the ubu door or do i have to do it after the bear quest?

You'll need to do it after the bear quest.
