It's the reward for bringing back the pendant of the woman in Faruk's castle.

The pendant is .....
Spoiler: show
..... in the basement of the Arxisian Fortress in a pile of dirt.

You can get one much earlier than that.
Spoiler: show
In Balzac Palace, go up the stairs which eventually lead you to the pendant quest. Only go up one floor and in the door just by the stairs. Click on the crack in the back wall to go to a small place with a chest with Thief's acolyte. Getting it now means you can collect chests as you go along, rather than having to go back after finding the pendant.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm, that chest wouldn't open for me without the Thief's Acolyte. I found it quite funny that the first thing I found with this is another one. +::Dunno

Really? That's strange!
I did find the chest, but it wouldn't open for me.
Gotta find a save file and try it again.

If you check Jordan's picklock skill, you'll notice it depends both on which items he has but also on how high his level is!
That's why some of you could open it and others not! :)

Oh, okay, that makes sense.
When I finally opened it I was sure it was because of the new key.
Anyway, I ended up with two within a few minutes, LOL!

Has anyone been able to get the Elder of the Order of Raa in the Turquoise Tower to speak? And if so, does he say anything useful?

Nope.
There's a guy in some town who also never says a word.
And one other thing keeps nagging my mind. In the Zenna Cave, there's a fire place somewhere north and Jordan says, it's as though someone was living there. I never found anybody there though.
