really big cat after exiting lone cave to the right-there is a cave that didnt exist before-the battle was really hard, the reward is cool though

Where is it? Is it at the beginning of the game and is it the south exit or the north? I haven't taken the boat yet still building up my levels and fighting thieves so I can buy the scarlet rod. Did get a captain's sword.. Cannot find the cave you are talking about.

Ah no! You're far from being able to fight that cat.
At one point of the game it will be mentioned, then you know you can go and fight it.

i noticed this:in Izuka there is a hut to the right guarded by a soldier who says that noone can pass not even jordan..in my 3d playthrough after i killed the balaz cats and reached izuka, the place was unguarded and a man was fixing pots..i dont know how this happened, what triggered it and if it has anything to do with some secret.. +::Dunno

I think it's unguarded now because of the troubles in the castle.
There's an ore in one of the pots. I believe you can give it to the forger in Crystalia and he'll craft something for you.
