to Indinera: Barbatas forgot to give the code, i fear that:

1.the code is a random drop
2.it is time related
3.it is character related

dont forget the inhabitants are idiots, maybe the code isnt recorded, and is instead an easy one like, 1234, or 9999, (though i tried those ones, as well as a few more obvious ones)

also, did anyone else find the code already set to 0002 when they first clicked on the gate

wow kronos you are very thorough! i didnt notice that thing about the code..i also tried the obvious ones and clicked everywhere for hidden passages etc..my last idea is to revisit Barbatas in Ivy cave..knowing Indy, this is going to be his toughest secret he always keeps one for the finale

i got 1653 from the guard, i think the code might be randomated between games
