One of the enemies in the Hotel of Ascension inflicted Jason with 'sick'. Nothing seems to cure it, not Spirit Liquor, which is supposed to cure all status afflictions, nor purification spells, nor resting at the inn. I can't think what else to do. Anyone else had this problem?

Yes, I have this as well. I wasn't sure if this was part of the story or not.

Has anyone found a solution to this problem...besides Han soup? I'm curious to know if anyone fought Malevodon without Jordan in the party and if Jordan escaped getting sick because of that choice?

I didn't have Jordan in the party in the party for that fight. As they were leaving (that floor? the one lower down?) Melusine commented about how Jordan's spells had greyed out at one stage and also that he was looking a bit green. Jordan said he was OK. I didn't notice that he had the sick condition until a bit later, which is why my original post was deliberately a bit vague and just said that it had been caused by an enemy, without specifying.

You mean with him removed from the party?
I did have him, but the good boy was a bit "absent" and didn't do anything. The other three had to deal with the green buddy all alone!
I don't think it would change anything though. He sure is supposed to be sick now, no matter what.

My personal guess is that with each demon we kill he will get sicker because he's somehow a demon too and is killing his family now, which weakens him.
