what i have to do, to make the guard, tell me which is the year?

The code is never the same!

i open it befor the code, and after i reach the code, i went in the castel, serching for the it, and save. i dont have a save to go back before to open the chest. Now i need the code from the gard.

After the letter you need to talk to the fisherman who took you to the Majestic Hotel. He will take you to the lost continent.
