but in the end it boils down to luck mainly, to be fair

Ok I am going to keep trying for a while and if nothing happens I will come later with the mounting skill for quicker results.

I actually got two eggs on the first version of the game, without farming. I think it feels so hard because they escape all the time, so the trick would be to go for the synaem before other enemies like bears and try to chop it on one early hit or at least the first round. Good luck.
