For those who have played both, which one did you like best, and why?

VERY hard to tell!
Both are very special in their own ways.
Sylia has a special atmosphere because of the pets as main characters and nice features like recruiting enemies.
And TBOL replay value is just invincible due to the variety of characters.

I thought it was an interesting duel hence why I asked ^^

which plot is the best, in your opinion?

I loved both. Sylia using animals was very cool. A lot of characters is very fun. The hidden sidequests, flowers, and equipment was a lot of fun. I didnt like sylias story near as much as TBOL. Tbol had more characters that were actually good IMO. Both games i was torn who to use though. Both great games. but TBOL gets my vote.

I think it would be unfair to vote now because it's been quite a while since I played Sylia and I forgot a lot. I would have to replay before being able to really decide.

I agree with cassie, both are good. Sylia and TBOL has a lot in common, lots of animals, big world, party-splitting. I would go for Sylia because Lady Godiva is one of my fav villains and of course, who doesn't like Hans from Sylia? XD

ahaha yes always thought Hans was hilarious xD

But then again he has to face the hordes of hilarious charas in TBOL

Sylia has quite a few trick in its sleeves (crazy story - animals saving humans, artifacts, and some things - like replenishing health and mana after fights - make the gameplay a bit more smooth), but overall I liked TBOL more - better dialogues, boss battles, maps and music. Also, I guess that it's just easier to care for human than for animals. I mean - I liked Katie, but Jasmine is Jasmine...

i liked tbol better because it is more of an old school rpg..in some ways it reminded me of LP and in others LF..besides the scenario is better and the dialogues more interesting and funny..i guess i am a classic type after all haha!

I think TBOL is me going back to the roots. I am glad so many people have enjoyed it.
