Below the village in Titan Cave , there is a bridge over a waterfall, blocked by two gates....
How is one to get over that bridge?
Or is it just a teaser?

It's not a teaser. You need to find a key in the main part of the cave

Then find a second key between the 2 gates. Once you're through you can get another quest.

I think if you follow the same wall all the time, you're bound to find the village.

I'm not quite sure either, but I think that (from the beginning) if you just keep going right you'll get there, in a nutshell, what Indy said.

There are a couple of junctions where following the same wall won't help. Here are the full directions, but of course if you go in a straight line you will miss out on a lot of items - and other things.
