I found 2 magical instruments in the orricle area. If i am not mistaken they are used in the cursed room below the magic shop. I tried using them down there but nothing happens.

You need 3 items. see the sidequests thread that Tomas gave you in your post about the letter.

I think there is another one in Reven Niega.
