all right, i know i missed a couple of quests and secrets but i really cant find a use for the following:

1.bat's wing
2.traditional elven bag
3.the 3 pink shells
4.cedra log
5.cat idol
6.himmi fishing rod
7.super lamp
8.traditional sausage

any tip?

Haven't found any use for those either.

Thought the pink shells were to sell, so I kept just one of them
I thought about the fishing pole and the letter, too, but it wasn't in inventory to use when that party was there but now I know why So...maybe the titans can use them...all that spoiled fish

unfortunately Alikamu i tried everythhing ..in Titans too..it seems that these items are not for use..maybe someone who got the guide can tell us

I have the guide, but don't want to touch it yet until I complete this 2nd time through

i never buy the guide cause it usually describes only the main quest! and maps' pics isn't so necessary for me :after all those years playing rpgs, I developed a "skill" in finding my way through dungeons
but anyway those items maybe just teasers

this guide actually has all the sidequests.
if you're not sure, the sample always tells you what the guide contains.

you did a great job. it's not so rare btw I think the MM4 guide had all the sidequests, too.

in this 2nd playthrough i just got my 1st weird item: the bat wing..calypso says she is not an alchemist and she doesn't know what to do with it..any ideas?

either it is a teaser item(so early in game? ), or a well hidden secret..now i have to give it to everyone, on every instance..god..
..lately i run into Gomez(i took the money this time)and actually paid attention to what he said about his job: he sells lamps..then maybe he is interested in this super powerfull lamp i drag around?

all just theories haha!

I haven't found any use for these items. Perhaps I don't have the patience to try them out with *every* NPC, so it's not surprising that I missed something (if the something exits, that is). Happy hunting.

Had that idea with the lamp guy too, but it doesn't work.
I think these items are really good for nothing.
