How do you get past the big chicken to get the egg?

You can't get that egg, you must find search for another egg in another place.

As for the Mouth of Creation, the only way would be to exit Eli's Cube, but that would mean having to start over the attack of the Cube (starting with Nestor's), so I'm not sure you want to do that.

Thanks again. Nah, think I'll just go ahead and get through the cubes then. Already had to start over with Nestor's cube when I went back to the zep to get the Silk Flower for Eli's party, as I hadn't taken it along with me the first time around in his cube. Onward!

Does it matter that I have the king before I find the silk flower? I have been all over the ruins for the last hour or so and I still have not found the silk flower. Would someone please tell me the location of the flower so I will know what area to keep coming back to? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The silk flower? I think that you when you enter the ruins, go north one screen and then right... it's in the area with sand, I don't know if the king will affect something.
