I have a Pear Item with six question marks after it...Is this the Pear of Growth? The hydra was recruited before identifying what it was...at what level will I be able to identify this item, if I am able to do so?

You're not. If the Hydra hasn't identified it yet you can't anymore.

Rats!!! So is the Pear of Growth necessary to beating the witch?

Nope. I also missed it. It just irked me because I always want a perfect game!

lol...I totally relate!...I have just about everthing including characters up to the point of getting ready to enter the cubes...just so frustrating when it's just that "one" thing that is missed, whether important or not...but most especially if it is important!
