Okay I tried to follow the maps from the strategy guide but get blocked/not able to proceed at certain points.
Is this another government conspiracy?! LOL

Seriously, I purchased the game and guide via BigFish which might be a bad version or something.

If you follow the guide carefully, you should be fine. Isn't the path indicated number by number? I know it's like this for the Alien Cave.

Okay I got through Mt Horus now I'm trying to find the 10 absorbers only found 7. And am trying to figure out how to pay the succubus a visit (unable to jump acrossed) or is that for Sylia chapter 2?

Keep exploring the Alien Cave and I'm sure you'll figure it out. ^^

Not really, it can't be too soon so people can get the chance to play part 1 but hopefully not too late either...

If you're absolutely sure you can't get to the goat by wriggling your way round, then I wonder if you have fought and killed the bird at the very top (i.e. where the sky is black), because that's what I did first, and you need to defeat it before you can complete the goat quest.

If you're not sure where I mean, go back up as high as you can; there is then a steep slope down and a straight section where iirc you have to jump from pillar to pillar. Towards the end of that section there is a path going up. That is where the bird is.

I have killed the bird yes, i'll try and wriggle some more..... Thank you!

I think you can always talk to the goat regardless of the bird.
