The Sage would have to give his approval for any such changes. He's already bent the rules to allow Marine to fight and let James keep his wolf hat. How much more can he accommodate this group without the people of Mystrock rebelling? It does seem as if he's biased in the challengers' favor.

What kind of training Marine will pass through in order to become a real martial-artist? I mean, what kind of challenges the Bear will make her go through?

Hmmm at the beginning of MM5 she will ask him to train THEM, not just her. Then he is supposed to decide how to make them on par with the Mystrock guys.

Does that screenshot where she is on a mountain with a harsh snow storm has anything to do with her training?

Who doesn't like to know about Millennium 5? IMO it's the game of the year. The game where almost all palyers from all companies are waiting for.

Sure hope it's true!

So far the Game of the Year is The Book of Legends, on Aldorlea. Can MM5 out-throne it? +::O_o

The hat thing was not as much as "bending the rule", there are accommodations allowed for such things. Marine however was totally it. +::wizard

How much more can he accommodate this group without the people of Mystrock rebelling? It does seem as if he's biased in the challengers' favor.

Interesting remark... I guess future only will tell. Anyone else think the Sage is biased?

He gave one more day because he offered Marine and her friends to follow them in Mystrock, which means losing about one day of exploration and recruiting efforts. He allowed James to keep his hat because he thinks the hat adds nothing to James' ability to fight.
He made an exception with the age limit because he judged that Marine was surprisingly adult despite her young age. That's his role to take decision on moral dilemmas. He didn't do it because he wants to advantage Marine, but because he felt it wasn't right to deprive her the right to participate just for an age limit.

You said that December was a tentative release, after that statement can we assume that the game is definetly coming out before next year?

Nothing is ever definite with release dates...

Is Saehral going to appear as a secret boss or something in this game? She's done a lot of beautiful character artwork and more for this series, I kinda wonder if she'll make an appearance for the final installment as thanks for her hard work. I've seen her appear in other games, both Aldorlea and out, that I'm curious if she'll be here.

On another note, maybe you can have Erin of Dreamscape make a cameo appearance since, in a way, she has met Marine and Lord Dragon (albeit secretly.)

You can look for new Millennium 5 stuff in the Aldorlea DeviantART page. The snowstorm screenshot is there, as is the new character art for the Lords of Mystrock. I'm kinda hoping we can see some new stuff myself.

wooooow! the landscape is magnificent! this isn't around the city of Mystrock is it?the weather is really harsh up there! +::fear

It is not planned... but who knows?
