If there's nothing like that in the showdown, then everything is fine. I just wouldn't want to lose fights only for that reason. If you have a piece of equipment that makes her counter you can just take it off. But here I can't decide myself.

We will see how everything will play out in the end, but if necessary, resetting promotions might be worth considering. After all, when starting without import, it will be possible to promote the characters, right?

Without import they are already promoted.

about the showdown: is it going to take place towards the end of the game?will there be some playtime after the final battle or only end cutscenes?

Nope they aren't which gives an incentive to play the other games. It's the way it should be IMO.

Cool there'll be training by the Bear!!!! why not duels between each other?
I wish to be able to level up/improve skills like at the Guild of the Ancients for characters cos I didn't buy the 3000 gold stuff for Jezabel Salome and Wolfgang.

The irony is we can get lots of money from the Grand Rift where it's impossible to go back to.. the Guild of the Ancients to improve characters. It was sad to then come back there but to be able to improve part of the characters +::cry

Do you think the guide will be made available along with the game when it comes out? There's only two reasons why I want to buy the guide:

Animal Kings
SECRET ROOMS!

Because if it's anything like the MM3 and MM4, there will be a lot of "point of no return" locations as we go along the story.

Probably, as of MM4... Indy started posting all side-quests solutions, secret rooms, animal kings (MM case) in all his guides. Well... with the exception of TBOL's guide.
