Meet Marcus...

He is "just" a conscript. And highly skeptical about what his close future is going to be made of.
But can life have some unexpected twists and turns for him?

Quiet and moderate, Marcus is a good companion to have along. He is also excellent at avoiding conflicts and arguments, able to find the right (and right amount of) words at the right moment.

Oh, I really like that village!
One thing's for sure - although everything looks so square with VX tilesets, they are much more colorful and bright than the XP ones, which I like a lot.
As for the shop - I already noticed this in the first screenshot you posted: That's the first time you're doing buildings like that - also showing the outside wall - right?
Marcus looks a bit grumpy, hehehe.
I hope "avoiding conflicts" doesn't mean he's a bad fighter! :razz:

Cute little village. All the trees and houses are in the right places, you sure know how to make a good use of the VX tiles. Excited for this game, and Marcus like Cassie said... he looks grumpy.

The maps were made by a new dev who goes by the name of Kes. +::Thumbup

Hi, I'm Kes.

To all those who said nice things about the village: Thanks for your kind words +:oops:

In terms of RPGs I grew up on Indy's games, mainly Laxius Power and Laxius Force, so you are certain to see a certain 'influence' there.

As for which tiles I used - for those who are interested in such things, in the village they are not VX nor VXAce, but by someone called Mack. One of the limitations of the most tiles is that houses can only have sideview houses like the ones with the pink and blue tiles, and I also like front view houses like the one at the top, so I constructed my tileset so that I could have some.

I hope you'll like the way I've done other maps as well. Indy's work sets high standards, so it's stretched me trying to meet them.

Yes, Mack's tilesets are awesome (pity you guys don't use his sprites too cause they are so cute).
I find it disturbing too when there are only sideview houses, so it's great that you got yourself some different stuff.

Indy, I'm actually surprised though that The Undefeated will be a collab again. Didn't you say this game was going to be 100% Aldorlea?

As for Captain America - in short words: itty bitty weakling is supposed to be turned into the perfect soldier, gets injection, then screams a bit in terrible pain, and then he's the ultimate super hero! +::biggrin
