Is it just a coincidence that Beriberu was called "Pinkie" in the game, which was what we ended up calling him in one of the teaser threads?

err... confession time.

I was so taken with the name when people began using it that I went back into the game and changed a few bits and added others so that he could be called that as well.

A glitch:
I just entered Hartoft for the first time (that's after returning to Eshley after Roke Marsh and having gotten new instructions) and that Beriberu thingy is talking to me although I haven't even met it yet.

Thanks. That was reported by another player this morning and it's been fixed. I don't know if Indy has had the chance to upload the new version which takes this into account. If he hasn't done it already it will certainly be happening soon.

Another question about Beriberu: Why does he lose his TP after every fight? Is that a glitch or is it intended because he's a weird thingy with weird behavior?

No, not a glitch, it is indeed because he's a weird thingy with weird behaviour.
So he starts off with a random amount each time, because he is so unpredictable.

I'm glad you like him. I think he's an acquired taste.

Very unpredictable! You never know how many times he'll attack!
