Can't open the game

I just downladed the demo and when I chose the trial, the following error message appears:
Script 'Shaz AppDate Save' Line 49: Encoding::UndefinedConversionError occured.
"\x82" from ASCII-8BIT to UTF-8^
Can anyone explain? Thanks

Is your keyboard using a non-Latin alphabet, e.g. Greek, Russian, Arabic?
If so, you need to create a user name using only Latin letters.

Yes, what is your country? Maybe a different alphabet is the issue here.

This is pretty weird!! I'm in Canada and never used another keyboard, I only speak French and English
As for the username, I didn't even go that far. The error appears right after I click on
Continue trial from the opening screen. I've played many games and nothing similar even happened

Do you have administrator privileges on your account?
I for example wasn't able to enter serial number without using "Run as administrator", so maybe this could cause some troubles, too.

Yes I do have the administrator privilege, I really don't know what to do...

Have you tried to install the demo again? Maybe there was just a disc writing "hiccup" during the installation.
