I wouldn't say so. TBOL is very big. This is just big. Of course, it's my perception. When you get the game, you might agree or disagree.

Do we get shops etc to buy weapons and potions as many as we can afford at the time and be able to save when we like ? How many game play levels are there eg easy normal hard ?

Yes, absolutely.
It's a bit like Moonchild, IMO. But bigger than Moonchild.

How many game play levels are there eg easy normal hard ?

Like in Undefeated:
Easy-Normal-Hard-Legendary

I finished Legendary a few days ago. +::Annoyed
