Is there any fix for this dumb problem. I have a new Comp with win 8.1 and the only way I can play games is to restart and try again. I'm no computer tech by any means, know a little but not much.

seems like hardware problem then
but what i wonder if whether it's generalized to all of windows 8... or just some kind of config you have... +::Dunno

I had Spybot Search & Destroy running on my system, it actually stopped me from running Eolie ? wouldn't let me dl it False positive I guess. I uninstalled it and I no longer seem to have the problem, +::YAY

Hope it stays that way, only problem I have now is I can't leave game alone Its great. +::YAY
