Secret Rooms

3 questions:
Are they numbered according to the order of places you can visit like in Undefeated?
Are they only in dungeons or anywhere?
Can I revisit places later in the game when I've missed some?

:)

I'll let Kes answer this as it seems very specific and I might not give the right answers lol

So here goes with the answers:

1) Are they numbered according to the order of places you can visit like in Undefeated?
Yes they are. However, in some places you can do things in a slightly different order, so you may find they go slightly out of sequence, depending on where you go first. An example of this would be the region of Kelagan South, where you could go to either dungeon first.

2) Are they only in dungeons or anywhere?
Two are definitely not; there is a third which I would classify as being a dungeon (because you fight enemies there) but which others might not, as it is not a 'normal' looking dungeon.

3) Can I revisit places later in the game when I've missed some?
I'm not sure from your question if this is still about secret rooms, or in general. You can revisit most places. There is one place which you can only gain access to if you have a particular quest (unlike a couple of other places where you can gain access to at least part of the dungeon without the quest). That quest must be completed before a certain point in the game, so if you miss it, that's it. Another place which you can only visit once is because of the story - and when you get there, you can see why. It is recommended that you finish all your business north of Huffon Tunnel (which is at the northern edge of the region of Kelagon South) before leaving that region to continue towards the coast, because after that you won't be able to go back through the Tunnel.

I hope that's the information you wanted, but if it's not, or if it's not clear, let me know.

Thanks for the detailed explanation, Kes! +::kiss
Thanks Littlebro as well!

I'm still just playing the demo and seemingly missed #3 (already, lol).
I've done the goblin quest and now they won't let me return to where the cave was. I know where #2 was and where #4 is, so obviously #3 must be somewhere in between. Hence my question if I can revisit places later.

Edit: Okay, I know now where it is. Still the question: Can I return later (cuz then I wouldn't have to replay the next part of the game)?

As far as I can see, once you return to the village you can't go back. If you haven't gone to the village I think you can.

Yes, that's what I noticed after finding #4, when I tried to get back.
Anyway, I already replayed from an earlier save, so I'm alright now. :)

Does this include Q7?

I think that's worded a bit ambiguously.

When you go through Huffon Tunnel you reach Kelagan South. There's lots to do there. It's when you go to leave Kelagan South by going down through the Pass that something happens, and after that you can't go back up through Huffon Tunnel. But
Spoiler: show
quest #7 is actually completed in Kelagan South

Okay, I'm not going to open that spoiler just yet. +::lol
I will when I don't find the solution on my own. ;)
Thank you anyway, your help is always very appreciated! +::kiss

I'm glad I wasn't the only one who missed #3.

Was there anything very much in there?

Probably not, since early secret rooms don't usually contain important stuff... but ofc Kes might correct me +::lol

Not 'important' but definitely useful. It has a 'Guard Up' and at that stage of the game +3DEF is quite a significant boost.

Ah, thanks. :)

I don't think I used any of the "ups" in the game at all. I always end up keeping them just in case, but most of the time still have them all at the finish.
I think I was scarred by a certain arena in a previous game...
