OK, not sure how that works but I am reinstalling the game. It might be Tuesday before I can restart the game. I hate dial-up.
Thanks for your quick response.

You won't have to start over if you just reinstall the game. It seems there was a problem with the first installation, maybe some corrupted files.

OK, that makes me feel a little better that maybe I won't have the same problem of it crashing after having to wait days before I can play the game again.
You may have wondered why I took so long to start this game. I played Sylia, Dreamscape and Book of Legends, which I just finished.
I have played all of the Laxius Force, all the Millennium games and I'm looking forward to #5. In the pass I have played Asguaard and Moonchild.
As you can see I like the games that are featured on this website.

Yes, I'm glad you like them so much, thanks. Indeed for some reason it took a while before you laid your hands on 3 Stars, considering it's my second release. +::lol
But it's definitely one of the best nonetheless, especially if you enjoy a really LONG game with a lot of things to do.

Reinstalled the game 3 stars and held my breath as I tried to cross the bridge into the lamia area and it worked. +::YAY
Thanks again for the help.

As far as your games, yes I like them LONG, with quests, hidden items/rooms. Not too fond of games with alot of characters. Always worry that I am playing the wrong players too much and missing out on something because I didn't level up others.

Just keep the games coming and thanks for entertaining me.

Glad we fixed the issue. :)

But that's part of the suspense... :)
You know if one is going to die or betray or leave. +::biggrin

You're welcome. Hopefully you'll like the future ones even more. :)

Just a note of recommendation:
When I bought the LF trilogy, I also got a back-up CD of the games. I've already had to reinstall twice, the second time because the mouse control stopped working (the reinstall solved the problem). To anyone else who's thinking of buying games, particularly multiple games at the same time, that back-up CD is a wise investment. I don't bother when buying just one game, but a CD can easily store quite a few.

Just downloaded the latest update of MM1. Have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times so far. I get the following message when I try to start a new game
Errno:ENONET
No such file or directory
Audio/SE/Chime
This is followed by a list stuff I cant copy to post. Apparently I can play from my save files but can not start a new game. Any ideas?

I made a stupid mistake that is now fixed.
Please redownload the game a 4th time ( +::surrender ) and accept my apologies.

No apology needed. All is well. Can barely wait for MM5. Just 20 days until my birthday, it sure would make a great gift!

Oh dear. I've been replaying LF1, but now I've encountered a problem. I've been leveling up my initial three characters in chapter 1 and selling off some Necrotears at intervals to make room for more. At 115 hours, I started them from the ruins of Metrolia toward the nomad town Velaas (I forget the name). Partway there, I stopped to fight an emerald drakon, and the scene started to go dark. After the fight, it got darker, until now I can barely see anything at all--certainly not my characters or the path to anywhere. The control screen is still normal. I tried reinstalling the game, but it hasn't helped. Changing my screen contrast/brightness hasn't helped either. Any suggestions?

If you reinstalled it, seems like a hardware issue to me. All the games are supposed to work fine on Windows 8. :)

Can you send me your savefile? This seems so weird.
