The Laxius saga started in 2001 and is one of the longest-running independent sagas. The third trilogy is planned to be released in the future.
Random, Sarah, Luciana, Coryool, Wendala and the others will all have 10 years in October 2011.
The Millennium saga started in 2009 and saw its conclusion in 2013, a bit less than 4 years after it started.

Is this the right one? I have it on my computer and it runs fine in Windows 7 by the way and all other RPG's made in the past few years.

you are very likely to have the right version as it is the one now spread all over the net

but back then there had been a release where you couldn't enter the homes - this is the 2001 version

You're toughest imo has been Lax Team. Cannot finish Too many charas to choose from But I am going to go back to it someday soon Maybe I'll survive longer and possibly finish, too

Doggone it...which one had everybody on it? Like many, many, many to choose from? Was it Lax Team? LaxPa was fun once I decided who went with who in the groupings part
