To me it seems that the "counter-attack" learned by this spell is not correctly saved for Cybel.
She keeps "forgetting" the skill. For other characters it has worked fine so far.

Maybe she's just not smart enough!
My Cybel counter attacked anyway according to the choices I made at the beginning of the game. I got a Pendant of Bravery, so I guess the question was something about being brave.

I've looked at the code, it seems to me like all is OK. Your Cybel counters for a while and then stops?

Indeed. The countering happens no more after a while.
The same is true for the other, I realized. I'm not sure, if this really happens after loading. I'll need to check this.

This is... a bit weird... I can't understand how that would happen looking at the code.
Who are the "others"?

By the "others" I meant other party members that can learn counter-attack from Xendra.

Anyway, for now I wan;t able to reproduce this. Reloading is definitively not the trigger.
But I'm pretty sure I had to learn the skill repeatedly, as it stopped working suddenly.
Maybe it has something to do with some story triggers reseting something?

don't forget that Viktor can't learned it because Xendra consider him a Wuss :p

Only one person at a time can have it (I think). What seems to happen is that you if you try to give it to a second person, the first person loses it. I think that might be because you can only answer Yes to one.

Heureka! That explains my problem.

I thought that "one person at once" means all persons can be taught it using the spell multiple time. Not that the others unlearn it. That's what confused me.

I believe I've made the spell clearer in the latest version. ^^

if you get Xendra to higher lvl she will have LEARN COUNTER TO ALL in that spell (upgraded spell) ... and you also get funny comments when you try to teach Viktor to counter ... I just love their interaction :D
