I'm playing the monkey with the throwing skill and am happy with that choice. I also thought it might make Indi happy to play something other than "explorer".

The monkey is at level 20 and delivering 200+ dmg per hit (2x before battle starts). I also have the local throw skill, which apparently relies on the location for choice of tossing stuff. Right now, the monkey is throwing a rock before battle begins and also throws mud because I am in the first big forest. Serious damage from a monkey. I do not know if the Royal knife has any effect on damage. I guess I should check that out.

This is the first time I have been an early adopter, but I have been Jonesing for a new RPG. Thanks Indi.

I am also pretty sure I just didn't find the last optional character ... I only have 8 characters and I keep finding swords and nobody uses them ... I am certain those swords should be for the last character but I don't have it... if somebody finds the last optional character let me know.

But levelling Piloo a bit isn't bad either, so ...

Well, I went back to a previous save in Thalys to check something else and then happened to stumble over the duck. I couldn't have just ignored it and moved on, right???
And the Mammoth Whip I found real quick. It was just one set of stairs that I had missed going down.

I am at the end ... fighting the final boss... great soundtracks .... and I still have 8 characters at the end ... so is that last optional character a little "duck" like Cassi says or there is something else about that duck ? I remember seeing a lot of ducks and clicking on them but nothing happened.

... there's one duck that'll jump in the water when you approach it. It's outside again later and this time when you check it it'll talk to you and tell you a little secret.
