I wonder if Kris doesn't learn any skills when he's guarding?!?
He gets hit by skills so seldom. I tend to kill all creatures but one and then just have them all guard for a while, hoping that the last creature will cast a spell on Kris. But if ever he does he just doesn't learn anything. I've been through several dungeons now without gaining even one new spell.

Edit - ok, after probably 296 attempts he now learned Clean Sweep although having guarded. Phew, I wonder how many spells he did not learn.

The ones I remember off the top of my head - I haven't got the game on this computer, so I'm hazy on the names. And there might be others that I missed.

One in Peatfall Tunnel - Engulf
None in Eastern Hills.
Two in Western Hills - Wicked (brilliant to get) and another with a name like Magic Wimp or Magic Wuss (also very good)
One in the Windy Kingdom - don't remember what it's called; inflicts Confusion and Silence

For all those you have to have the Blue Pendant equipped, otherwise you cannot learn them.

After his upgrade in Dorgate you don't need equipment.

Yes, I had the pendant on him all the time until he got upgraded.
Well then I guess I got them all so far. I do have all the ones you listed, plus Clean Sweep now from those nasty maids at the manor.
