How do I turn off background music?

Usually there is an option but I can't find it on this game. Not trying to insult the composer but I always turn off BGM.

Press F1, it will prompt a kind of option menu.

Yes, that's what I usually do but it didn't work. Must be a problem with my keyboard.

BTW, I took the "most obvious" and 10 letters/numbers clue and I got it! Nice to work with the gang again!
