Vintage Aldorlea also means August release.
So here I am! A new story, one of my most unique, and a fully stand-alone game with a brand new cast of characters. Enjoy!

Image

STORY:

After discovering and rescuing an unconscious elite warrior from a dangerous jungle, a soldier, a scientist and a nurse decide to team up and escape from the ravaged army base where they'd been struggling for days.
Abandoned by their hierarchy and most likely left for dead, their only salvation lies in the genius of their awkward companion Josef, and his ability to figure out a route through the jungle and back into civilization.
But with drastic conditions and raging monsters all over the place, one thing's for sure: the mission is not going to be easy. And as the past of their chance ally Pristine slowly comes to light, it appears clear that staying alive is going to require more than just might. Can they find help in the jungle surrounding them? Who will survive and make it? Play the game and find out!

Image

FEATURES:

* Up to 8 hours of playtime
* 2 modes of difficulty
* Mouse control
* Auto-saving
* Unique, innovative story with immersive dialogues - Indinera's signature!
* Great artworks, production values and atmospheric soundscape

Please note that the guide sample available on the website also works as an instructions manual for basic (but essential) gameplay knowledge, make sure to give it a look to make the most out of your game:

Just bought it but can't play for a few hours yet. (Real life getting in the way.) I usually prefer mystical / fantasy / medieval setting over military but how could I walk away from an Aldorlea game? :)

It has quite a lot of fantasy/mystical content actually, easily comparable to a game like 3 Stars of Destiny for instance. I tried to convey it with the screenshots... have I failed?? +::O_o +::surrender +::cry

I went more by the description. As I said, I went straight to purchase option, didn't bother with demo or sample guide, so my impression was based more upon the description. Now that I've read your reply, I'm even more anxious to start playing. :)

I believe the game has a strong adventure vibe, at least it's how I felt when I was playtesting it. +::music +::wizard

I've got it, and am getting stuck in. The mapping is excellent, some very nice touches there.

So far I'm having a fun time. The story is pretty unique, I think.

Much more later on, when I've played more of it.

Glad you like it so much!
IMO the story is one of my most original ever. 8)

You bet!

Btw, the base with all the bodies, flames and holes really felt quite "infernal".
This is quite close to the "raw atmosphere" of Laxius Power.
And the music reminded me 3SoD somehow (a bit).

Good, it was my goal. Also the recurring earthquakes add an ominous threat.

Or LF I guess. :)

Yeah, and later on I think it's the whole game that is a bit reminiscent of 3 Stars. It has the same kind of "adventure" feel IMO.

I decided to do this on Hard mode, instead of my usual Normal mode. I may live to regret this! Or rather, regret this because I may not live! Mohunda is difficult, I think I'll have to do some levelling up.

But I'm not going to let the buggers defeat me - I've managed to get this far without a Game Over, but those Scorknight's are tough. Just spamming Attack has not been an option throughout, but here I'm having to choose my skills particularly wisely. I've seen that debuffs are my friends. I could do with another camp fire a bit further on to eplenish my MP - I'm always concerned about running out of items, though I've not come near that yet.

Leave the camp when you're fully ready, pile up on Honey items. 8)
And yes debuffs are a key element, never overlook what Josef and Mathilde can do. +::wizard
