I have purchased the game and i was able to save in slots 1,2,3 but after that it won't let me save - just buzzes. If I try to overwrite it gives me an error message and the games stops

I'm on it. I'll send you a new download link shortly. In the meantime I'd recommend to delete your Forever Heroes folder so you can start fresh with the upcoming new link.

Please try and redownload the full game, using the link from your email.
Better also to delete the previous folder of Forever Heroes, to avoid confusion.
