I have a 2nd blue orb but I cannot put it into the pillar where the 1st went- once the volcano blows up I will not be able to came back to here

But if the volcano blew up, it's indeed too late.
It needs to be done before that event.

yes I have the blue orb - 4 members in my party the magic salt and 4 caskwood nuts but it only says : if we find another blue orb we will come back - have not entered into the volcano yet

and you are sure you have both orbs ? Where did you find the second orb ? Put the information in a spoiler tag

In short :

you find the second orb on another statue - it is even visible in her hands - the statue is up on a hill but you know you found the right one when a dialogue pops up and Genevieve will get it for you. The statue is also on the same map room where you found Leo. I hope that was not the first orb you found

thanks 1st orb I found was in a room with a blue enemy- I take it the 2nd orb is in the ruins too
