my bad luck continues!! now quest 1,2,3,7,9 & 13 have disappeared from my completed list!!

I had just crossed into that screen. the bubble above the monkey kept blinking but my characters would not move and I could not access game menu so I had to completely close out the game and restart.

Did you have the monkey-repellent bandana on?

yes

Tested it with the bandana on, cornered a monkey, but that wouldn't freeze the game still. At least it happened just once which seems it was some kind of hiccup.

This is strange as there is no coding removing completed quest scrolls.
Maybe you could send me your save file?
They are in www/saves/ in the game's folder.

Wow, rpsmith!!! And it just keeps getting better, huh? I pop in to check up on you every now and again but haven't said anything before as all I have to offer is some sympathy (which isn't much practical use really) It looks like you're in a right pickle - that's a bummer
