I thought about that after I posted ... apparently I need some kind of boosts that I really don't have cause I tested out by using every boost on Genevieve - including Max MMP,MDF, DEF etc - everything ... but she still doesn't remember what to do with the chair.
I found at least one, if not both, of the boosts I needed on the way to Master Z. It's good that different potions can be used since they are all in such short supply.
