Now i have to replay the woods area for the third time because i didn't have a convenient save but i don't care, worth the trouble!

Okay, not asking you to 'spill any beans,' but can you answer this question: If I have already moved on from the forest to the snowy mountains and back to the forest, with all quests completed except #29, is it then too late to complete this quest?

I won't spill the beans if you mind, but if someone asks me directly how i solved the quest and i don't tell them, isn't that a d**k move?

when you solve a quest on your own, it's always ok to say, but i did help you on this one +::whistle

Actually, it depends.
Entering the mountain is not eliminatory though.

Best answer i can give you without upsetting master Trickster is: maybe it's already too late or maybe it's not. Sorry...
I would advise you to read carefully the topic again, particularly what Indy told me and you'll figure it out. Then you can judge for yourself if can solve the quest or not.

My guess is sometimes the most expedient solution isn't the best solution, but I don't have a saved game that's convenient enough to test that theory. My plant already died, so maybe that relic wouldn't have helped me in the end. At least there's a bit to think about in these forest quests for those who have just acquired the flying saucer.
