Freeze at evil shrine battle

I seem to be stuck at this boss battle. I've tried at least 50 times replaying this battle. I've got Busho, Genevieve and Penelope in my team at level 39, but I get annihilated about 5 turns into the game. I have no revive potions (used them all in the boss levels before this one) and no way of refilling my stock. I'm playing on hard mode

Any tips? Else I'll have to start from a previous save game and lose about 6 hours of game time

The best advice I can give you by far is that you could be 4 instead of 3 standing up against Gomorrheon & co.

This is the part I PM you about and BMT won't let redownload again. I gather there is a new version up. My characters do jiggle but don't respond to any actions. I tried replaying it about 5 times both full screen and windowed to see if that made a difference.

I was wondering if the freeze up on the battle using previous saves onto the newest download might be the freezing up continuing? Hence I've started again deleting all previous saves. I'm back in the volcano now and hoping it doesn't freeze again. It was just a thought.

Well, smh it froze at Evil Shrine again. I'm at a loss at what to do still have save. I guess I'll try again but I'm getting very frustrated, I started all over again and having it freeze again has only happened on my LF games when using my items and I even used the patch on that series. I deleted my previous save file from the first battle in Evil Shrine where it didn't freeze and on return to same battle only the evil sister is there. That's when it freezes. Please Thanks.

Can you send me your savefile again and let me pass that fight for you?
I think it's a better alternative than just starting over.

How old is your downloaded game? Redownloading and reinstalling should fix that issue.
To stay on the safe side, make a backup of your savefiles (located in the www/saves of your game's main folder).

That's super strange.
