I used both Brain potions and this allowed me access to the secret room to find the recipe for the contact lenses.

seems to me a smart way to save an MAT one +::whistle

I don't see it as a bug at all and it's factually not a bug since I intended it as such. Trust me, when something is a bug, I do accept it gracefully (and try and fix it). Also it's called Brain Potion (the MMP one) so it's a hint in itself. The way you found the answer indicates to me that you had knowledge of the game (a key element IMO in a game so big, hence why I always recommend a first playthrough allowing for mistakes) and used said knowledge to discover the "secret". I think you were smart, had a great idea (I knew I was going to need the cosmic potion for the Rayanne quest, so decided to try the others) and logically got rewarded for it.

I'll admit it's probably a difficult secret but that's how a game "resists" to being entirely completed. If nothing is difficult, everything gets solved fast. You guys and gals helping each other have been super fast IMO finding so many secrets. I am not entirely sure about toning the difficulty down now. Those efforts to help each other and solve secrets is also what brings the community along, which is definitely a plus in my book (like in the old days +::heart

esp. Laxius +::heart

).

All of that said, I'm willing to consider adding the double MMP possibility also for the resolve of Rayanne's quest. That would indeed be more consistent, as kimo mentionned, as it seems it's the 2 times Genevieve is involved. It would also make the whole "tough secret" aspect easier though. Any thoughts?

EDIT: after giving it some thoughts myself, I'll update the game with the double MMP "trick" also working on Rayanne's quest.

I also agree with what you said about the camraderie that has developed with players of this game. It's interesting that you mentioned "Mind Potion" and referenced the word "mind" because it was what I unsucessfully used for Q3 during my first play. Of course, that was well before I understood the "boost system". After that, I figured out it was only good for something that would be affected by an MMP boost (whatever that might be in the future). So, for me the name Mind Potion didn't match my expectations of what a mind boost should accomplish. It's especially crucial when you find the chair blocking Genevieve's SR and she mentions something about being stupid.

I have to say, though, that I never saw a real relationship develop between the 2 of them. And I also read all the comments you mentioned. I think I even equipped "Romanza Indus" relic on Lilith for a while hoping for some change between them, but have since changed the relic. Uh Oh. Another counter for Indi? +::shhhh

I have to say, though, that I never saw a real relationship develop between the 2 of them. And I also read all the comments you mentioned. I think I even equipped "Romanza Indus" relic on Lilith for a while hoping for some change between them, but have since changed the relic. Uh Oh. Another counter for Indi?

Romanza Indus doesn't improve their relationship, it's just a stats thing.
As for how said relationship could develop... I guess it depends what happens in the game. But Lilith sure was "warming up" to him... +::shhhh

Oh, I definitely saw that mutual admiration displayed, especially in the sword in the stone scene and in the formidable chest scene. You definitely saw Busho falling for Lilith in the cutscene when the party sleeps in the elven inn, and then there's that AHA moment when Busho says he lives alone at the top of the hill and Lilith thinks, "he lives alone?" and I recall a distinct blush to her face. Maybe I've just read too many Nora Roberts novels, though, and I'm reading into things.

No ... you haven't too many novels cause It was obvious for me too and others that Lilith started to like Busho and Busho started to like Lilith :razz:
