I just found Alice at the Evil shrine. Before checking her, my save menu says I have finished 49 quests, which seems right. It's 54 minus two three that I've missed, minus the relic one as I'm still short of one relic, minus the hero one.
But when I check Alice, the dialog says I've finished 51 quests. Then the characters say their lines about how many quests they've done and how much XP they get.
After that, the whole thing starts over, I get the 51/54 notification again, everybody says their lines again, and they indeed get the XP twice.

Not sure about the jump from 49 sidequests to 51...
However when talking to Alice you should get XP boost from finding a legendary hero, and then if you've found all 20 (and she is the 20th) a quest completed for finding all 20, with subsequent XP boost again.
There is just one thing that doesn't make sense. If you had 49 sidequest completed, it should have been 50 after Alice.

There's something wrong with the relic count too.
I have 10, but my count shows 9 on the save window. It must be the Medion or the Dabraldabrov that's not counted.
Before leaving the Elven Forest it said 8 and that was correct.
Then at the Evil Shrine I found the Medion. I didn't check if the count went up, but after finding the D... I noticed that after saving it only said 9. So one of the two wasn't counted.

This error with the relic count bugs me. I saw that other people got them all counted correctly.
I do have all 14. Busho's party has 8, Caius's (who went to the Ice Shrine) has 6. And yet my count says 13. That means, the quest is also not completed.
What could possibly have happened there?

Something was wrong anyway. Half way through the Evil Shrine the autosave stopped working as well. It just wouldn't save anymore.

Autosave, I'm not sure tbh...

The Dabraldabrov is the tricky one. It's in the right red chest at the screen where Marlyn is, but only after putting the skull in the gate. And I believe the Medion was in the left one earlier. Not 100% sure though.

It was a bug and it was Medion. Bug only happens if Busho is sent to the evil shrine.
The AS is trickier to figure out. Maybe send me your savefile?

Sure, but that's probably very random. I didn't notice it happening in my first playthrough.

Sometimes it's just down to a small detail, quite literally a bugger.

Maybe again it's just something that happenes with Busho's party.
But I would think if it had happened to others, it would have been reported before.
It's not that big of a deal. I'm constantly saving anyway (obsesssssssed with saving).
