The guide says hero #19, Joseph, can be found outside the volcano. I cannot find him and I have walked on every square of the island and town. I even talked to all the animals just in case he was going incognito.

Is the guide wrong? I'm going into the volcano and just don't care for my purposes.

BTW, that was bad-ass boss guarding the treasure.

I think it said "on Hermit Island", which is... true

I'm sure he'd love to know he was badass now that he's dead

Page 132 of the guide also says heros #18 & 19 can be found Before entering the volcano.

Yup, should be both of them.

Well... it's a small island and town and I could not find Joseph unless he is hiding in the mountains. I never found him in the Dragon cave and I explored everywhere to build up Audrey's skills.

Remember that although it's a small island, there ARE many places on it.

Yep, he was obvious in the Church. Only Leo, Tisinge, and the woman who was thrown out by Jabbar were there. I rechecked the SRs and every building, too. Drove me nuts.

Hero #19 is MIA and I am almost finished with the game. I found hero #20, so #19 cannot be found under certain quest circumstances from what I gather.
